Both, receiver and transmitter dispose of 100 pre-programmed, free selectable UHF frequencies. Auto Scan function and frequency transmission via infra red from receiver to the transmitter makes the setup easy, also in multi-channel aplications. 16 channels per frequency range can be operated simultaneously and without any interferences. The number of maximal simultaneous channels depends on country regulations.
All functions can be controlled manually on the color-LCD of the receiver which indicates battery status (5-level), user's name, frequency, group/ channel, squelch, RF and AF level. The sophisticated adjustable squelch prevents unwanted noise effectively. The NE 500 S is equipped with an PC-/Notebook-interface (RS 232 or USB) and can be operated via the optional available Opus 800 software.
