Switching System 2 Guitar Amplifiers to 1 Cabinet with Remote Input
TINOS routes the guitar signal to the desired amplifier, while the unused amplifier is short-circuited on the input side to avoid unwanted interference signals. (As if the guitar punk were turned off). The gain from the instrument input to the output is unity (unity gain). The built-in buffer converts only the impedance, so that the high-impedance guitar signal is less susceptible to interference. In parallel with the switching of the guitar signal, the loudspeaker box is switched over and the loudspeaker output of the muted amplifier is connected to a load (dummy load). So tube amplifiers are absolutely safe against dangerous idling.
