The latest addition to the Dolby® Digital Cinema family of products, the DSS220 is designed exclusively to be paired with a DLP Cinema® Series 2 projector with an internal integrated media block (IMB), rather than combining the server and media block functionality in one chassis like the DSS200. This reduces the cost and size of the server chassis while providing the same reliable performance as the DSS200.
The smallest and lightest screen server on the market, the DSS220 takes only 2U of vertical rack space, easing space constraints and simplifying installation.

• Compact Design
With a vertical height of 2U (3.5 inches) and a depth of 17.7 inches (50 cm), the DSS220 chassis weighs only about 31.5 lb.
• Ample Internal Storage
RAID 5 hard disc array with 4 TB net internal storage, option of up to 6 TB.
• Standard eSATA Port for Connection to External Storage
Conveniently connect to external storage including rack-mounted CRU drive bays with eSATA connectors.
• Optimized for Multiplex Installations
Many multiplex screens don’t need CRU removable drive bays in the server. For those that do, the Dolby DSS200 also supports an IMB in the projector for future expansion.
